Congratulations on the purchase of your new puppy! You have a very well bred dog from field champ lines. Lew and Joanne have been breeding dogs for over 20 years. Our vet is Seneca Animal Hospital located in East Aurora. You can contact them at 716.652.6120. They are great vets and offer free puppy classes with other puppies.

Every effort has been made to give your puppy a good start. The vet sees them within 3 days of being born to remove dew claws. Each puppy receives a complete physical. Socialization is very important. Our family becomes involved with the puppies. Around 5 weeks, we begin to walk them, play with them and get them outside. The more we do with the them, the better they are. We even start potty training them.

The rest is up to you. After all the shots are given, get them out. Take a puppy training course!

Good manners start young. Stay with it. For hunters/field people, a good book to start with is "Water Dog" by Richard Wolters. It's fun to see what you and your dog can do together. Enjoy!
